Question

  1. What is the certification difference between your Academy and ABMDI?

  2. How is your Academy associated with ABMDI?

How is our certification different?

Our training is reviewed annually by the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators and assigned an approval number. We are not associated with ABMDI in any other function and do not speak for them.

The certification through our Academy is to fill a need prior to, or in addition to, the ABMDI certification. Due to the certification restrictions of ABMDI testing and certification, we found a need to have knowledge base testing for those students wanting to enter the field of death investigation, or for those not qualified for ABMDI.

Our certification is widely viewed as an industry leader and is recognized throughout the country as a professional organization.
