Questions:
Who finds the testing location, the Academy, or me?
How do I find a testing location?
What happens if the testing facility I choose to proctor my exam isn't approved?
Who finds the testing location, the Academy, or me?
Because our students are located across the USA and other countries, we are unable to suggest proctors or proctor locations.
We do not schedule exam dates or times for our students. The student must schedule the exam date and time with their chosen proctor.
The national certification exam must be taken at a facility in the presence of a proctor. Online proctoring services may not be utilized.
How do I find a testing location?
If you do not already have a location in mind for your exam, research local libraries, testing centers, colleges, or universities to see if they offer proctoring services. Keep in mind that not every library provides this type of service.
Students in rural areas may need to travel to nearby counties to locate a suitable proctoring facility.
Once the student has located a testing facility and scheduled their testing date and time, they will notify one of the testing organizers at our Academy at least 14 days before the testing date. Once this information is received, the Academy will be in touch with the staff at the submitted testing site to verify that they do meet and/or exceed the necessary standards to proctor the exam.
What happens if the testing facility I choose to proctor my exam isn't approved?
If the facility where a student has scheduled their exam does not meet the necessary criteria, the student will be notified immediately and will need to find an alternate location.
